The verdict is out. The actor with the funny name of Huge-Jack-Man, has been declared 2008’s sexiest man alive by People magazine. Move aside, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and David Beckham!

For the uninitiated, Hugh Jackman has just turned 40, is 6ft 2in tall, married for twelve years already to Deborra-Lee Furness.

I don’t remember any particular movie of Hugh Jackman which made me go, “Oh! Wow!!” I remember Brad Pitt doing that. I remember Daniel Day-Lewis doing that. Heck, even Daniel Henney did that! This means that Hugh Jackman is just not my type of guy.

I went through the list of top sixteen sexiest men alive by People and frankly, I was pretty surprised by some of their choices. Well, what could we expect when this guy (pic above) is at the top? Seriously, does that spell SEXY at all? Not to me. Sexiness is in the eye of the beholder, I guess.

Forbes Magazine has done some Maths and came out with the top ten overpaid Hollywood actors. This is the second annual list of least bankable celebrities. Calculation is based on the past three movies of each actor and dividing the total earnings by the films’ gross income. This amount will be the actor’s payback figure.

So here are the top three actors:

1. Nicole Kidman

2. Jennifer Garner

3. Tom Cruise
