Brigitte Bardot, a former silver screen icon, now 73 years old, has been fined by a French court for inciting racial hatred in France, particularly with her letter to the then Interior Minister, Nicolas Sarkozy.

Brigitte is a vocal animal rights supporter and had demanded that animals that were sacrificed by the Muslims for Eid al-Adha be stunned first before being killed. As an animal lover myself, I have to agree with her on this point.

However, Bridgitte also said that the Muslims in France are destroying the country with their acts. This is her personal opinion, of course.

And for this, Brigitte has been fined 15,000 Euros or £12,000, her fifth conviction and the highest fine imposed.
