After days of speculation and rumours that their marriage is on the rocks, and furious denial from the parties involved; A-Rod, Madonna and Lenny Kravitz, Cynthia and Alex Rodriguez celebrated 4th of July separately.

It comes as no surprise, then, that after five years of marriage, Cynthia will file for divorce from A-Rod on Monday, citing infidelity, which has been a longstanding issue for A-Rod.

The sad thing is that Cynthia had only just given birth to their second child, a daughter, some ten weeks ago. Some people say she should have left A-Rod long ago. Madonna is only one of his latest conquests, though Cynthia has maintained that Madonna brainwashed A-Rod by casting a Jewish spell on him. Well, we don’t know about Jewish spells. I think it looks more like A-Rod was ‘charmed’ by Madonna’s enigma.

How will this divorce be like? Will we have a show to watch like Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook?
