David Cook is American Idol 7
May 24, 2008Did you watch American Idol Season 7? I guess you did. Well, I did not. Perhaps I’m getting old but I tell you, one talent search show is just like any other, whether it’s Top of the Pops or American Idol. There will always be tears, drama, high and low points, all in public display and that’s what people want to see, right?
Sometimes you wonder why people would want to keep searching and crowing someone, besides the commercialism, of course, when the country is already over stuffed with celebrities and celebrities wanna be.
David Archuleta & David Cook
In Season 7 of American Idol, David Cook triumphed over David Archuleta and although both are equally talented, I think that it’s unfortunate for David Archuleta is only just 17 years old, and I think he’ll be too young to handle a win this huge. David Cook on the other hand, is just the right age…. and I guess there were some pity votes too due to David Cook’s brother who is battling cancer.

Anyway, congratulations. Let’s hope David Cook makes the most out of his win. Congratulations to David Archuleta as well. The journey has just begun!
