Sharon Stone has apologized over her “bad karma” comment with regards to the devastating earthquake in China which killed hundreds of thousands of people. Although Sharon Stone has always been opinionated and has just spoken her mind, I find it utterly bad taste and bad timing for her, a role model to some people, to make such a strong comment.

As Asians, we know that there’s something called “Karma” which means “retribution” in English, yet, we never say it out aloud and of course, never point our finger at someone’s bad fortune and put it down to Karma.

So Sharon Stone has apologized like she should but that doesn’t mean that she has once again endeared herself to her millions of Chinese fans.
